Knowing what to expect — how long a session runs, what it costs and how appointments work — makes it easier to decide whether to get in touch. Everything is set out below.
Complimentary
Free introductory consultation
A complimentary 10-minute initial consultation is available to new clients, by telephone or email arrangement. It is a chance to ask practical questions, get a sense of how Sharon works, and decide whether to book — with no obligation.
Session fees
Clear, upfront pricing
Sessions are 50 minutes. Because each appointment includes a short review and feedback, it is worth allowing up to one hour overall.
Individual counselling
$200 per session

- Tailored to your circumstances, goals and pace
Couples or family counselling
$220 per session
- 50-minute session
- In person in Parap, Darwin NT, or online via Zoom
- Suitable for partners in any relationship structure, and for family members
Session review and feedback. Each appointment includes time for review and feedback, so while the therapeutic session is 50 minutes, it is worth allowing up to one hour overall.
Willow Connection is a private practice and sessions are fee-for-service. If you have a question about payment, third-party funding or whether any rebate applies to your circumstances, please ask when you enquire — Sharon will tell you plainly what is and isn't available.
Appointment types
In Parap, or online via Zoom
Face-to-face counselling
Available in Parap, Darwin NT — a quiet, private consulting space a short drive from the Darwin CBD and close to the coast. The specific address and parking details are confirmed when your appointment is arranged.
- 50-minute session, up to one hour overall
- Individual $200 · couples or family $220
Online counselling
Sessions by Zoom are available for clients who are unable to attend in person, including people living remotely, interstate, or managing caring responsibilities. Online appointments are offered subject to suitability, which is discussed before the first session.

Bookings
Cancellation policy
Appointment times are held exclusively for you, so reasonable notice matters.
24 hours' notice
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations and missed appointments
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, and appointments that are not attended, are charged the full session fee.
Prepayment
Prepayment may be required for an initial appointment to confirm the booking.
Rescheduling
If something unavoidable comes up, contact Sharon as early as you can by email or SMS so another time can be arranged where possible.
